Poetry: The Atlantic ocean

by Polo Bear

Created on: July 06, 2008

The Atlantic Ocean runs for miles from east to west,
From the shores of Africa to the shores of America,
A vast sea connecting east to west,
What a special habitat filled with the best of the best,
Of animals deep under the oceans depth.

It contains the Bermuda triangle,
Which runs from Puerto Rico to Bermuda,
And then Florida, forming a triangle,
Which was said to be of great danger,
To flags of ships and airplanes crossing the deep blue ocean.

The amount of species of animals in the Atlantic Ocean,
Is uncountable, from whales to plankton,
From angel fish to parrot, from sharks to dolphin,
Much more than I can list here, including the birds of the air.
A pleasurable experience somewhat, observing it without despair.

It's a whole new world inside,
Communicating with the one outside,
A vast array of colors, from the sea, to the clouds and the sky.
A tremendous beauty showing it without shame nor disguise.
It's the Atlantic Ocean that Christopher Columbus crossed, looking surprised.
