Exploring the power of possibility

by Rose Still

Created on: July 06, 2008

Is it possible for mankind from different faiths or no faith in God to individually explore spirituality toward a common goal of unification rather than division? Is it within the realm of exploration to search for answers concerning God using our potential capacity as individuals? Regardless of differences in religions, is it possible for the devout religious or those who do not believe in God to explore our individual power of intuition and conscience in a way in which we can reach a common goal? There is so much chaos and confusion concerning God. We have the potential and strength to actually put forth the effort to work together in helping to alleviate many of the problems of the world.

Exploration is to examine carefully. Power is the potential ability to act with an inner strength to actually put into force. Possibility is the capability of happening or proving true, not contrary to fact, natural laws or experience. Because we are unique individuals we have the ability to examine, the power to act and the potential to think for ourselves and collectively utilize all of our positive thoughts for positive results.

We do not have to exclude personal beliefs concerning individuals religious convictions, doctrines or traditions in order to search for a common ground in which to work together to become more effective in learning to live in harmony with each other. We all have something positive to contribute to society if we believe in the power of possibility.

Those with love and tolerance, regardless of which religon or no religion can learn from each other. This world full of chaos and confusion can benefit from the philosopies of each other if we would realize that who is right or wrong concerning God or whatever power one believes in is not the solution to our problems and conflicts.
Many of us spend so much precious time arguing about what religion is the right one to follow, we forget to try and understand that one's religious convictions are actually creating divisons. These arguments create anger, hatred, bigotry and reasons that in many cases turn people away from God. Would'nt an atmosphere of love and mercy allow many people to possibly want to search for answers, rather than turn away from God?

"United we stand, divided we fall" has become a sad reality. Rather than peace there are wars.
Love and forgiveness have lost it's meaning. Children are no longer children in many respects. Loneliness and despair seem never ending. Hunger and homelessness are evident in all parts of the world.

Isn't it time to explore the power of possibilities?
