control centers, they increasingly script and stage-manage events, creating the danger that we will find ourselves living inside seamless works of theater that we mistake for the world" (Sanes, Par. 2).

No longer are we able to do anything in private. Someone is always watching. While in line at the ATM every movement is captured. If you adjust your belt, blow your nose, drop your credit card; all of these things are on video. Elevators, maintenance rooms, gyms, banks counters, department stores, restaurants; you are being watched. This fact disturbs many people including myself. These things are not repetitive exercises. Therefore when the actions take place people are more likely to take a glance at the screen. It is human nature to be drawn to the unforeseen. No one should have a view into these private moments. It is unjust that others are able to view these instances. I feel that my rights are being desecrated.

Having the sense that you are being watched cam make a person feel uneasy or self-conscious. The media today
