Spring Up by Frozax Games is a deliciously clever game of skill and luck. Players use their mouse to fire vibrant colored balls, releasing matching color objects which fall through spinning barricades and must then be caught. Powerups, both good and bad, boost your point total and the games difficulty. This game is deceptively simple and will challenge the quickest hand and eye. The graphics are excellent quality and the physics engine top rate. The sound quality is also very good and the music inviting and upbeat.
Players will find Spring Up to be fun and highly addictive. Frozax Games has balanced challenge and simplicity of play to create a game that will appeal to players of all ages. Seventy-two unique levels of levels of play will provide many hours of playtime, and the levels are fun to play over and over again, making this a game well worth the small price of the full version. An ample sixty minute preview gives players a full taste of the game they are sure to purchase once they play.
Frozax Games has added a very interesting feature that is sure to hook younger players, and those young at heart. Points earned playing through the many levels can be spent to decorate your own personal garden with 50 different items to choose from. There are also twelve different backgrounds to choose from in the full version, allowing the player to customize their game. This game allows multiple users, making your garden and your background choices your own and are saved under your user name.
This is a unique game in the vast sameness of downloadable games. It stands out for the quality the designers have put into it and the pure fun, feel good, environment they have created. Spring Up is a game that both a parent and a six year old will love to play and any teenagers in the house will be begging for a turn as well. I am giving this title a 4 out of 5 for pure fun and replay value. There are many similar type games out there, but this one is sure to be a favorite.
