when your heart is breaking;
when the night is long;
when there's no one to talk to,
and you feel so alone...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
when darkness surrounds you;
when the storm clouds come;
you're reaching out for some thing,
but you can't touch no one...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
when the tears wont stop falling;
and your heart can't understand;
there's no shoulder to cry on,
no ones there to hold your hand...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
when all hope has left you;
when your sun just wont shine;
close your eyes and see the rainbow,
you can see it with loves eyes...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
when fear overtakes you;
and peace can't be found;
when our mind wont be silent,
and all your heart feels is down...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
no one can walk your path for you;
and there's lots of twists and turns;
sometimes you feel like a candle in the wind,
you wonder why light has to burn...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
your lifes journey is inside you;
every mountain that you climb;
tap into, that grace within,
pick yourself up and live again...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
when joy takes the place of sorrow;
when your peace has been restored;
strength within, will be renewed,
on the spirits wings you'll soar...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
when your tears turn to laughter;
when your grief decides to smile;
share your happiness with others,
dance on grace and play awhile...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
when your life here is fading;
when your time can be no more;
just remember what you are, cannot die,
you're grace releasing love, in heavens unbound sky...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
tis grace, that brought, you safe, this far,
and grace, will lead you home...
