Puzzle Hero, a new game Roll Playing Game by Genimo Interactive, that is easy to download. It is a puzzling computer game with one of the main puzzles is why does it only have selections for female players? My son and I were both disappointed as we felt it was a very exciting and fun game for everyone, but seems only designed for young girls! Why not call it Amazonian Adventurer, Warrior Woman, or even Battling Beauty if it is only for the "gentler sex"? This is a fun game for both boys and girls.

Battling Beauty would possibly be the best choice as Puzzle Hero has wonderful graphics with a nice attractive heroine that battles the many nasty creatures she encounters, first in the garden and then rescuing her brother. It is a beautiful, fun and interactive RPG game that requires a bit of thought mixed with strategy. You are the young lady that fights villains using an advanced version of "Bejeweled" (a game found on many PDAs as well as computers) but, instead of simply matching jewels, one matches certain items for their needs. Be warned: the nasty creature then gets a turn and may take what you missed, a nice innovation. Swords attack and potions heal, too much attacking and not enough healing and someone dies! There are also crowns needed to advance, shields for protection and you can get "bullish" on the attacking! Four in a row gets you, or your opponent an extra move. You can make side trips by going to the shop between contests to upgrade your weapons or go get your hair done at the salon, if you collect enough gold while fighting!

The graphics of the villains are nice as well and have some very amusing names, my son's favorite was the Ninja Reptile (no, it is not a turtle)! They also have some funny attacks such as lick, kick, spit and, of course ninja martial arts antics. All of this fun to the sound of nice music rather than harsh explosions or loud shots that ring out through the house!

Puzzle Hero is an enjoyable game: creative, innovative and fun with some very nice graphics.

Would I purchase it? Probably not as I need games that can be played by the whole family and this seems to be mainly for young ladies, Patrick would feel left out. Get a male character and I would definitely consider it. For fun and innovation, I would rate this game an easy 4 out of 5 and will check out other games by Genimo Interactive!
