To reinstate the Pledge Of Allegiance in public schools, is one process every American citizen should take part in. Because it's apart of our nations heritage. Not only did our ancestors before us believe in it. They stood by it's very existence of it. We have a great country, in times of trouble we stand together. Presenting the American Flag in front. Today's society of constitutional activists have spent so much time, fighting to take away every thing our country was built on. As a child, when I learned the Pledge Of Allegiance. It meant the world to me,and to recite it at an early age, was the biggest accomplishment in a child's education. It let's the person know that they are American. That each of us has a place in this country and that we are in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
When states voted to remove prayer from schools. It changed America forever, and gave our United States a black eye. Other countries had a different view of us. Many of our men and women who have served in the armed forces, to protect us feel neglected. They believe in our Allegiance to the flag, and as well as to this country. Not having it in our schools sends the message, that you can enjoy our freedom, but don't believe in it.
So many other nations want what we have and willing to die for it. Because they believe in the Allegiance of the Flag. In daily news articles so many people of other nations have died trying to reach the United States. I'm very proud to be an American, also to recite the Pledge Of Allegiance. I have passed down the reciting of it to my children, and to my grand children.
As history tells, everyone entering the United States spent countless of hours learning the Pledge of Allegiance. Because they wanted to be considered an American. The fact that not being born American when they arrived, they wanted their children and grandchildren to have that right.
It's considered the most basic right of passage anyone can have. Taking it out of public schools, was the most scandalous thing any court could have ever done since "Water Gate". Even during some of the most prestigious ceremonies the Pledge Of Allegiance is still recited and the United States Flag flying at full staff.
As American citizens we should want our children being educated in public schools, to recite the Pledge Of Allegiance. Giving them pride and honor of being able to have the right to an education of their choosing. Also to honor those that have fallen in the line of duty, protecting our right of freedom. Even in some law enforcement agencies the Pledge Of Allegiance is still part of daily roll calls. It's just what it states " One nation under god","liberty and justice for all. How can the United States call themselves the most powerful country, when the courts decided to agree with the activists. Striking down the Pledge Of Allegiance in our learning institutions.
Our children follow by example, what type of examples are we setting here by striking down moral values. Are we leaving a future for them to have.
If for some insane reason the Pledge Of Allegiance is not reinstated, teach our young ones it anyway. Give them a true belief of what being and American is. Our country is under a crisis right now.In our daily travels we see our countries flag hanging from store fronts, homes and governments buildings. That tells me, people still believe. If we intend to get our youths back lead them to better social standings. Reinstated the Pledge Of Allegiance and Prayer back into our public education system. It does make a difference.
