Poetry: Emotions

The fear comes from nowhere
hitting me like a bullet
right through the heart of me.
Not moving, not breathing, all seems distant,
clouding of vision until I cannot see.
Time passes yet I am unaware,
lost in a world,
cloaked in darkness somewhere.
Back in reality I cant figure it out,
What's happening to me?
What's it all about?
Left with a pain so real and so deep,
With Nightmares that haunt me
as I try to sleep.
A feeling of fullness that I want to be rid,
no let up from the pressure,
I cant release the lid,
so for a moment, I will purge it away,
if only for an hour and if lucky
a day.
But its a vicious circle
a rollercoaster ride.
Holding too many secrets,
im dying inside.
