Forgotten left alone
with memories of my past,
wrapped around and inside me
like a tight hard plaster cast.
Alone as on an island
this is how it seems.
far away in the distance
no one can hear my plea's,
Trying to find escapism
to run from internal screams
Flashes from old memories
old ghost's that haunt in dreams.
living a lie of smiles
a way to hide the pain
But inside my tears are falling
like the cold and heavy rain.
