History
The Half-life original came out on 199 and it won game of the year and it really deserved it, after a disaster at Black Mesa caused by Gordon Freeman the only playable character. The following title, Opposing Force sees you playing as an SAS soldier sent in to combat the infestation of Aliens and to kill Freeman, another top game. The next was Blue-Shift, which saw you playing as Barney the security guard, probably the weakest game in the original series. Then Half-Life 2 came out and Episode 1 which both saw you playing As Freeman and they will be featured later.
Introduction
Possibly the biggest game ever, there are 5 games on it, these are Half-Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. It has great content and has a new amount of game-play style in portal which is sure to feature in the future.
Graphics
They really are fantastic, the detail in the scenery is fantastic and is not something to ignore. They are brilliant on the Xbox 360 High definition connection. Sound
There isn't a great deal to be said about the sound it is very clear and there is very good detail on the speaking sections. You can tell the Vortagons voice apart from the humans.
Controls
These are well set up, apart from the jump being on the Y button, but I got used to this eventually. There is also a very simple layout on the controller and it works well and gives you a feeling that you are in the middle of the game.
Weapons and Vehicles
There are a lot of weapons and my favourite thing about this is that there is the ability to carry all the weapons. The best weapon has to be the crossbow as the sight on it has been improved a great deal since the first series and it is now far more powerful. The turrets area great deal better and the ability to move them with the gravity gun are brilliant. The gravity gun itself must be the high-light I love firing things at enemies and playing fetch with Dog. The vehicles are few and far between, in Half-Life there is the
