Fourth of July independence celebrations across the US

sweeping new powers to increase domestic intelligence-gathering, surveillance and law enforcement prerogatives, and simultaneously decrease judicial review and public access to information."

Ooops there goes all of our important civil rights, now we live in a police state, where the military judges themselves and judges CAN NOT protect us from their unbridled power.

What worries me the most are the many people who have drank the kool-aid and believe they will not be heard with such intensity as to cause apathy. What people seem to not realize is that if enough people voiced concerns together to the right people using the right channels -they would be listened to, moreover, they could change the course of this present trend by reimpowering the consitution and the People of the United States -exactly as Mum Bett did 227 years ago.

All civil action by the people serves to cultivate and strengthen the Constitution, which empowers the People. The is an ever intensifying positive feed-back loop, and the end result is country that has competing interests, but only within the context of what will benefit the most people. And it is the people that are missing in the equation leaving only the special interests to regulate themselves.

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.- Benjamin Franklin
