Poetry: Inner struggles

by Neil Rothwell

Created on: July 03, 2008

Meaning of Life?

What is the point
To living this life
We and we chase
To all such strife

The objects we own
To fill up our homes
The things that we want
Leave us feeling alone

We sit and we watch
As the clock counts down
To the fate that we set
Deep in the ground

The hole that we face
Stating up from below
Will swallow your soul
If you break from the flow
