Loves Scars
My heart was open
For you to see
You stepped inside
It was empty
You filled me up
I saw the sky
But the heights I knew
Where just too far
The dreams I had
Looked real to touch
But looking deep
It was too much
You lied to me
Right to my face
My hearts in shatters
There is no trace
Looking back
You still have me
Wrapped up and tied
There's no way free
The wounds have gone
The scars remain
The thought of you
Still causes pain
Why did you happen?
Why was it me?
Get out of my head
And leave me be
