Yankees or Mets?

For long has this rivalry existed. Yankees or Mets? The favorite or the underdog? To be a front runner or a average team lover? What ever way you put it, your still asking: Yankees or Mets?

Lets start off with the Yankees. The 26 time World Series champions. The season is picking up for the Yankees. I have reason to believe that the Yankees will make the play offs. The always dangerous Alex Rodriguez is back and better than ever, Giambi is gonna ride that mustache of his to the All Star game, and last but not least Hideki Matsui, one of the best hitters in the majors.

Now unfortunately, a major set back. Yankees ace pitcher Chien-Ming Wong is out for possibly the whole season. Who's going to step up to the task? Mussina? Nah, maybe a trade is in order. If the Yankees acquire C.C. Sabathia can he help turn the team around?

I believe that the Yankees will make the playoffs, but lose in the first round. Why? Because the Yankees have too many players with not enough play off experience. Sure A-Rod does, so do Jeter, Posada, Damon, and other players. But this is a fairly young team.

Mets, now it's your turn. Staff ace Johan Santana is doing decent for the season, keeping the Mets from falling into last place. The starters haven't been terrible, and Billy Wagner and the boys out of the pen haven't been all that bad neither.

The Mets, a big over inflated balloon that's good for nothing. That describes the Mets. With the cowardly firing of manager Willie Randolph no one can think of the Mets without feeling slightly sick. Carlos Delgado isn't the man he once was, Orlando Hernandez is just about expired and Jose Reyes isn't the player he once was.

I believe that the Mets have a 0 percent chance of making the play offs. The team can't produce runs and the whole team is a circus filled with people who don't know what to do. The whole team looks to Johan Santana to sort this mess out. The mets got Johan Santana in hopes of improving a good team, but in stead the rest of the team slacks off and they lose games because of that. That's why the Mets are struggling now.

Many ask me, How are the Yankees better than the Mets? Well I always answer, Who are 26 time world seris champions? Yankees. Im not saying that the Mets are garbage and I hate them, im just saying that the Yankees are better than them.
