Womansavers.com has been online since 2004 and when it started it offered exactly what it claimed to offer: help and advice for women who have found themselves in abusive relationships. But over the years womansavers.com has become a dangerous place for a vulnerable, abused woman to turn to. From nasty members, to your typical internet trolls, to a site owner that only cares about fame, money and publicity, women will find nothing but more abuse hurled on them if they dare turn to this site for advice and support. When womansavers.com was actually a reliable source of information for battered and abused women, the site had several moderators who were appointed to ensure that everyone was treated fairly and politely. These days, the only "moderator" left on the site is the site owner herself, who does nothing more than exploit women who have come to her seeking guidance and wisdom. Members and trolls alike are allowed to post nasty hurtful things about other members, most of whom are already hurting from the abuse they have had to deal with in their real life.

While the database of abusive and cheating men available on this website is vast, this is the only helpful feature on womansavers.com these days. A user can enter her abuser into the database, sharing information about him such as his picture, current state and city of residence, as well as any aliases the man may use for online dating sites, blogs, etc. The user then fills out a survey stating how the man treated her during the relationship as well as what kind of partner he is, and is able to include any additional comments about him. However, the downside to this database is that any woman can write anything about an ex partner and there is no way for anyone to check the facts. In other words, a scorned woman who was neither abused nor battered, can very easily post information about a man that is completely untrue. The women turning to this database to determine whether a man has a reputation as abusive while be none the wiser, and an innocent man could end up with a reputation he does not deserve. So even this feature of the site needs to be used with extreme caution.
