I wanted to be you
So long ago
I felt your heart in my soul
I hated to be lost alone in that snow
I've been emerged in water
Baptized in fire
Danced on the freeway
Took myself higher
I saw your pain
Beneath the blue in your eyes
It's sad how time slows down
But its tendency that flies
I waited on the freeway
Of Middle America
I'm trapped in this graveyard desert
In a dungeon inside Pennsylvania
I wanted you to engulf me
Like a blood filled ocean
But you left me high and dry
I don't remember when
Answer me this
When are you coming home?
Am I grasping hollow
Am I wondering alone?
Razor blades swim through my heart
They still exist
I can't get rid of them
Loneliness persists
It seems people have attitudes
Always bad, always towards me
I don't know why
I guess that's a curse of a Rain King

Eerily creaking old boards
from long ago
Lost to time and to the living
It waits
No longer loved
nor remembered

Hunt the sky and kill it,because now you have nowhere to go.
Left you in this savage desert, winds command submission.
