Finding healthy snacks for kids is easy, a lot easier than you may think. The funny thing is...kids don't know what their eating half the time! Making a kid eat a snack that is full of nutrients and low in fats and calories is not problem if you can make it good-tasting and fun. Here are some ideas to get started:

Mud-Pudding Pie
This is a very popular recipe, and you probably had it when you were a kid. It's probably the most eaten child snack out there, and it is absolutely delicious, and even fun for adults! However, one con of this snack is that its not rich in nutrients. On the up-side however, its not high in calories, sugar, or fat either!

Ingredients:
1 pack of sugar-free instant chocolate pudding
1 pack of chocolate Oreo cookies
1 bag of gummy worms

Instructions:
1. Make the chocolate pudding according the the box's directions.
2. Crush Oreo cookies by hand or with a blender.
3. Place mixture (mud) in pan or individual serving cups.
4. Bury gummy worms in the 'mud.'
5. Place in refrigerator to chill, or serve instantly.

Bear-Banana Split
This one is a great breakfast option for kids. The kid-version of a banana split featuring teddy graham crackers makes for a healthy and delicious option for the kids.

Ingredients:
1 small banana, split lengthwise
1 container of strawberry yogurt (other flavors work too)
1/4 cup regular/cinnamon teddy grahams (Cinnamon grahams provide extra flavor)

Instructions:
1. place bananas on the sides of a sundae dish or cereal bowl
2. Place yogurt in the middle and top with teddy grahams
3. Top with light-whip cream if wanted, for extra flavor or decoration
4. Serve immediately, cold

Taco in a Bag
Easy to make, easy to serve, and fun to eat.

Ingredients:
3 personal-sized bags of Doritos chips
1/2lbs. ground beef
1 cup lettuce, chopped
1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1 cup shredded cheese
A jar of taco sauce

Instructions:
1. Brown hamburger (optional: add a southwestern seasoning when browning)
2. Open individual bag, add about 1/3 ground beef onto chips
3. Add all other ingredients to bag
4. Serve with fork and eat directly out of chip bag!
