Moms also have benefits from breastfeeding their babies. When a newborn eats, it causes uterus contractions that lead to less bleeding. Another thing is it will help the uterus get back to the shape it was in before being pregnant. Moms can also lose weight quicker because breastfeeding tends to burn more calories.
