I caught the wrong end of three long lights.
At the right time I could have waited
spent the time saved nuking minute rice and instant coffee
and thought
Those moments are gone
finis
kaput
no amount of wishing will bring them back
but the lights were between me and home
and I only tapped my foot impatiently
and cut through the gas station
