Oops!
Let's corner this blueprint neatly:
the teacher marks red dots wherever
two lines don't meet cleanly.
Paper is so malleable.
Mistakes are easily forgotten
otherwise. But the red remains
where a building will be,
across streets
through which the tanks will roll
(over a patch of earth that doesn't exist)
But if we should slip
Let's hide the evidence and the tide of red
under other blueprints.
