The Strongest Man
Born in Bethelem in a lowly stable
Nothing but a man to most
A savior for some, a protector of many
A deciever to dozens, and to few a fable
With angels this man did walk
A performer of miracles he was known
A leader of the lost, a shepard for his sheep
Of love and forgiveness this man did talk
"He is the messiah," many claimed
As they followd him, leaving everything
Still there were those who feared him
Death was the only way to extinguish the growing flame
Hurting no one and loving all
They took him bound in chains
Under the sins of the world
This mand did humbly fall
Taking upon him our pain
His death was the key
To the gate and eternity
That we might live again
"Father forgive them..."
Was his anguished cry
For those that had hung him there
And were now watching him die
To heaven he went with glory
Then returned a man of miracles
For he had broken the bands of death
And even today people tell his story
The strongest man the world would see
He was bruised for our transgressions
A perfect man saving imperfect souls
He suffered, bled, and died for me
