This is not a typical Pasta Salad, but an innovation that will satisfy your longing for something more and something different. I have variated this recipe with many different ingredients and still have a great result. If you are out of any of these items, dont stress. I have suggested tried and true substitutions that don't compromise its greatness.

For a large Bowl, servings approx 20+

Pasta, cooked and cooled. 2lbs. Bowties
Ranch Dressing 2 bottles approx 32oz
Ham Diced large, 2 Cups
Broccoli chunks, 1 Cup
Cheese, Cubed 2 Cups, Cheddar
Chicken, white meat, cooked and diced 3 Cups
Grape Tomatoes , halved or whole, 1 Pint
Bacon, Cooked and chopped 1 package, the lb packages.

mix, set aside some of the Ranch if the salad is not for immediate service. It will rapidly soak up the dressing after a while and you will need to losen it up. Substitutions are, if you do not have Ham, Salami is great. Un spicy Cappocola is also lovely. If you do not have Broccoli, Cucumbers work nicely. If you don't have cubed cheese, i have even used julienne strips of whatever I have whether it is american or provolone. Cooked Chicken can be substituted for Canned Cooked Chicken. It is not as pleasing to look at it but once tossed in Ranch it looks great. Grape tomatoes can be substituted by chopped tomato of any kind or even diced onion. Bacon can be the cooked boxed bacon if you are in a hurry for service to guests. Its great. I have brought this recipe to many different gatherings. It is great.
