do very well with moving across the world a couple times.

Pack some entertainment for the kids as well. If you are travelling a long distance you need to keep the kids occupied. We let the kids bring just a few of their favourite toys and activities for the car ride. Our children are pretty good travelers but even the best travelers can get tired of being in the car. We try to make the long trip fun by playing games such as the alphabet game, where you have to complete the alphabet using letters from various signs and such along your travels; Slug bug is a popular game in our car, and I spy. One of the greatest things invented was the portable DVD player. This also aided keeping the kids entertained while travelling. We also give the kids cameras (yes even the four year old gets a camera), we had a couple of digital cameras we no longer use and let the kids have at it. It will allow your kids to preserve their special memories. Our kids have a blast being able to take their own pictures.

Final Thoughts:

My family and I have been on many family vacations throughout the world. We have seen many beautiful places but nothing can compare to the beauty, splendour and inspiration Charlotte County brings. You do not have to be a nature lover to be mesmerized by the natural beauty that surrounds this great place. You will never see more beautiful sunsets, breathe a breath of fresher air, and see trees more green or skies more blue.

As a mom of an 11 year old and a 4 year old, it is a great feeling when I see my children smiling from ear to ear while enjoying all the fun things we have done while in the area. "When can we go back?" is a common question asked of my children. Being born and raised in Charlotte County, it does this girl's heart good to see my children loving and exploring what was my playground for so many years.

We all need a break from our everyday lives, to reconnect, rejuvenate, and escape the turmoil's of the world and our everyday life. So pack up the kids and head to the Charlotte County, New Brunswick area. Missing it could mean missing the vacation of a lifetime.
