Continue to be genuine
when everyone is fake.
Continually give to others
when all they do is take.

Give love to everybody
when hating is all they do.
Let no root of bitterness
spring up inside of you.

Guard your heart and mind
against the evils in this life.
Because people hear the words you speak
whether darkness or the light.

Nobody cares anymore
and love has grown real thin.
You can be the difference
in the world in which you live.

Don't think you're O so wise,
arrogance does not work.
Be the one to love ALL people
don't be the one who hurts.

Let love, joy, and peace
always fill your life.
Then when others interact with you
they'll be seeing the love of Christ.
