Wallpaper
My room looked dreary, I papered the walls,
They looked so good that I papered the halls.
They turned out nice, so I papered the doors,
I papered the wood that made up the floors
this may have been a mistake, but since I went to the
bother
I papered the toys in the little one's room,
my daughter's a weaver, I papered her loom.
I just couldn't stop this wallpapering fix
and when they got home, I papered the kids.
"You go too far!" they told me at last.
"You need to get help, and you need it fast."
They called for the doctor who came in a rush.
He said not to worry and took my paste brush.
He undid all my paper, my long days hard work
and sent me to bed to sleep off this strange quirk.
Next morning I woke feeling rested and cheery.
I looked at my room. I thought it looked dreary
