To heave to ho, by sweat and blood
That boat is drawn, and on so on
Without rest or sleep or peace
Through thick and fog and storms that rend
Till founders final at the end
And in the cold and bitter deep
The darkest dreams in silence keep.
But over all eternal hang
Those stars of madness dark complete
And in the march of running nights
Draws the unhinged captain's sight
