I came to earth a spirit,
a mortal body to obtain;
I am of royal lineage,
blood from my Father's vein.

Sometimes I get confused,
about which way the path goes;
But,I must always keep my faith,
because, only Father knows.

I must uphold my covenants,
no matter what the cost;
If I don't follow His Plan of Salvation,
then my purpose in life is lost.

I talk to Him everyday,
though sometimes my impatience shows;
Our timetables are not the same,
only Father knows.

He will always lead and guide me,
though we cannot be face to face;
I must first finish my work here,
to return to that celestial place.

Some people say His spirit has left them,
But, I personally don't believe this;
He has never left my side,
though, at times, I have left His.

He has always loved me unconditionally,
no matter which path I chose;
Can I, honestly, say the same for me?
Only Father knows.
