I really don't know why but I have this thing, I have a love for films who has certain actors/actresses in, and Uma Thurman has become one of them, I looked on the shelf at HMV and there was DVD's I was picking up due to the cheapness and the fact that I hadn't watched them and They looked interesting, and then I noticed "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" on there and as usual I noticed the Actress Uma Thurman and picked it up straight away. I knew what this one was about, but at times I pick up DVDs I haven't heard of, the reason I pick them up is due to the actor/actress I'm fond of! However this film I knew a fair amount on it but hadn't seen it in shops and here it was, so I picked it up, it was only 3 I think!
Anyway, I couldn't wait to get home and watch it so my mum drove me home and I ran upstairs, with complaints from my parents for not taking off my "new Rocks" (My Boots!), but I ignored them and turned on my TV and my DVD player and inserted the DVD!
But before I tell you all the bits about the film, I'm going to tell you who plays who:
Characters
*
G-Girl (AKA Jenny Johnson) is played by a fave actress of mine, Uma Thurman, G-Girl is Jenny's secret Identity and only one other person on the planet knows that Jenny is G-Girl, that guy is Professor Bedlam, he also knows how she got her powers
Matt Saunders is played by Luke Wilson, I've noticed him from a few films but I wouldn't call him a fave actor of mine!
Vaughn Haige is played by Rainn Wilson, is Matt's best friend
Professor Bedlam (AKA Barry Lambert) is played by Eddie Izzard Somebody else I know but I wouldn't count him as a fave of mine
Hannah Lewis is played by Anna Faris she is liked by Matt
Now what did I think of the film? Well in my opinion I loved it, it's a comedy so I wasn't my sort of movie but I got into it really quickly, it started with Matt and Vaughn looking at G-Girl in a news paper empathising how hot she is. Then they spot another hot girl in the train and Vaughn pushes Matt to ask her out, eventually Matt does and finds out her name is Jenny Johnson, but he doesn't know that she is really G-Girl until she tells him and he's really happy.
But then G-Girl Meets Matt's co-worker Hannah and automatically Jenny gets jealous. Eventually Matt dumps G-Girl and goes out with Hannah, after Hannah and Matt had slept together, the morning after G-Girl comes up to the window with a SHARK in her hand and she tosses it in and the shark hobbles after Matt, that bit was the funniest bit!
Then Matt meets up with Professor Bedlam who has found a way to destroy G-Girl and get rid of her powers for good. But will Matt get in on the plan? If he does is he clever enough to out wit G-Girl? How will this end? Well I'm not going to tell you all I will tell is that your prospect of the ending will be totally wrong unless you've watched it!

There is Hilarious Deleted Scenes - These made me laugh all the way through they were funnier than a hilarious scene!
Anatomy of a shark scene - I didn't have the chance to watch this but I presume it was good
2 Featurettes - I also didn't watch this sorry but it was 11pm at night and I had school the next day!
"No Sleep 2 Nite" Music Video Performed By Molly McQueen, I had to watch this due to the fact that when I was younger I was a big fan of The Faders and Molly McQueen was the lead singer, it was a good song but I wasn't too impressed by the video!
So you think this film is for you? If so get it NOW!
Directed by Ivan Reitman, he has directed Ghostbusters and Evolution, but this movie has to beat all the films he's ever directed! If you were going to watch a film directed by Ivan Reitman, at least include this DVD in your selection if not chose it as the one you should buy!
