I imagine my life to be like a book
starting with simply my thoughts
but as time moves on
my situations become plots
Each day waking to
a new chapter has begun
Each night, lying down to sleep
another chapter done
And in knowing my life is like a book
I have realized throughout all of the stage
That my life, without God
would have no more than
empty pages
