Where do my thoughts go?
They're not in my head...
And as they slip away
I feel it's safe to say
They won't bother me when I'm dead
But if I have any doubts,
then please remind me why
because my head's in the clouds
and my mouth is very dry.
I can't keep my focus
I hardly know my name
And when you ask me a question,
you have to say it again
Because I can't remember who
and I fail to know when
And there's nothing I can do
To have these back again
So tell me if I forget
And let me know where I am
And if I need to stop and sit
Please just hold my hand
This will all be over in a while
Just let me tread on alone
I'll recover all I've lost
And I'll always know my way home

Than this big

How does life exist outside my window?

The danger of solitude?
I sit alone in this sometimes
I'm sitting on my porch steps with the urge to cry-
waiting for the phone to ring, ready to die.
The stomach tosses and turns
Where is this place called Dignity
Where is this place called dignity?
There was a time I thought I knew
with certainty,
yet
