The Deep
Oh the place I long to be,
forever calling out to me.
It's spirit flows into my veins,
since we met I am not the same.
The smell of it so salty sweet,
I smell it now in conscious deep.
It's warm white boarders of where I strolled,
feed my mind, my heart, and soul.
Once you leave there it leaves it's mark,
upon your mind, your soul, your heart.
No matter how hard I try,
I cannot get it out of my mind.
Oh the place I long to be,
forever calling out to me.
Men are drawn back to the sea,
I'm no exception to the deep.
