Was I a victim of rape? I was. Did some of my choices contribute to it - yes!

I met this guy at a Christian web site for singles. After recently coming through heartbreaking relationship with someone who cheated on me, I was not necessarily looking for romance. I told myself that I wanted to know if there were any good Christian' guys out there.

Saul (not his real name) and I started chatting for a few weeks through the Internet site and as I became comfortable with him we shared telephone numbers. We talked almost every night for weeks and then he invited me to come and visit him in a nearby city. As he lived about two and half hours away I discussed my decision with my close friends.

After much discussion we decided that if I took proper precautions (is there such a thing?) it should be alright, different and fun. I booked a hotel room, made sure all of my friends had his number, place of work, address and my travel details and headed out for this new adventure.

After checking into the hotel I met him at his home. We sat and talked for a while; he showed me pictures of his children and teased me about the fact that I came across somewhat old fashioned. Ding, ding, ding could have been a hint of problems to come. As he was charming about it I chose to feel pleasantly different. He fixed me supper, we watched some television and I left with a hug to go back to my hotel room.

The next day we met and drove around town while he talked about the possibility of a future together. Okay now I'm started to feel some romance and the dreamy feeling of a great guy wanting to share a life with me. We went back to his place where I started to feel sick from what I would latter learn was a gallbladder attack. Saul and I had discussed my problem on the phone and he had been very sympathetic.

I was under a doctor's care as I had been unwell on and off for a while and in the meantime while he was working at unraveling my medical mystery he had given me darvocet for the pain.
Because I didn't feel well and was away from home and friends I asked if he would come back to the hotel for a while so that I would not be alone. After we got to the hotel we watched the sunset and then watched a Billy Graham special while sitting in bed (on top of the covers). I felt safe with him there and was starting to feel very drowsy.

While Saul went to get ice I remember calling my girlfriend and asking her to pray because although I couldn't pin-point it something seemed
