CHANGE IN MY BALANCE

I can't describe this feeling it's a change in my balance
The natural order of things is making a left turn
We've felt this feeling for too long and this bond keeps getting stronger
Would it be much different if we paused for this change of heart?

I've held this picture in my head and seen all the colors change
From dark blue to blushing red and finally to black and white
*because that's how simple the idea has become*

How long do we have to wait next to each other before we change the subject to us...?
We stare and hold and even express the love but it's too hard to stop and change the order

Finally we have figured out our place together but it's not together as it should be
So how do you describe the level I'm on when you cross my mind?

I have seen these colors in my head before and even then couldn't get the feeling across
Now I see those colors in your mind and I know you wish you understood

I am there, believe me I am but what would we lose if it all came out
Just thank you is all I can say thank you for it all
Every moment you've remembered every time you told me you were there

Just knowing is the missing color to my picture just knowing is the love
