In the world of spotlights, cameras and the paparazzi are a few names that always come to mind first. One is Britney Spears and the rise and fall that she has taken with her singing career. However, beyond her hopes of aspiring as a well - known musician is also a set of illusionary dreams that have been seen through rose colored glasses that are now beginning to come into a full circle and into a complete end.

When Britney began her career as a singer, it was a complete set - up from the record producers in order to show someone who was not necessarily talented, but instead, had the looks and ability to be pulled as a puppet. The run that Britney made with her career was exactly this. Despite the fact that she was singing, was something in the background that caused her to present herself in certain ways.

This is being said because from the beginning, Britney never had a singing career. Most musicians recognize that her ability to sing is close to a rating of 0. This is combined with her inability to sing correctly, the inability to expand her voice and sometimes the inability to actually sing the song, instead letting the lip sinc idea take over. When comparing Britney to true talents, such as ones from the past, like Billie Holiday or Ella Fitzgerald, it becomes a shameful approach to say that Britney ever had a singing career to begin with.

The problems that Britney has had with drinking, drugs and even her ability to show her true colors as a mother, is the last step towards her completely faking a career that she never should have had. She went off of the deep end not only because of the instability that was being pushed on her through the public and recording companies, but also because her 'career' as a singer was never a career to begin with. The inability to be honest about this is what stopped her short in her tracks.

The new album that Britney has come out with is one that will only reveal her true character more and, instead of reviving her career, will most likely show how she still is unable to sing. Most who have any ear at all have already begun to recognize that Britney sounds like a duck on most of her songs on this album. This is not a happy duck, but one that is sick, strained and should be working for a retail store.

The sad part of this story is not necessarily Britney's attempt to revive a singing career, but instead, to start one that never truly existed. Her downfall was one that, even if it were forgotten, would still not justify her inability to provide any talent or musical prestige to the world of celebrities or to those who have a sincere approach towards being a musical talent.
