Pining for a lost love.
What is there left for me now you are gone?
I feel no joy, no reason to go on.
The world I once believed was ours to share
Has crumbled down around me everywhere;
Pieces lying scattered on the floor
Now that you're not with me any more.
The future holds no promise for me now,
I lost your love along the way somehow.
All I do now is just sit and cry,
Why won't you give our love another try?
Remembering all the love we had before,
Now that you're not with me any more.
My life is nothing but an empty space,
Loneliness is written on my face,
Joy and laughter, pleasure and care,
Gone from this place we used to share,
No happiness now like there was before,
Now that you're not with me any more.
If only you would let me try again,
I promise not to give you any pain.
I only want to share my life with you,
In any way that makes you happy too.
I just can't bear the nothing that's in store
Now that you're not with me any more.
It doesn't matter what you say or do,
There's nothing that will stop my love for you.
The clouds now will forever hide the sun,
You were my life, and now my life is gone.
Everything that mattered walked out the door
Now that you're not with me any more.
