Feline Superiority Complex:
Have you ever felt as if your or a cat stares right threw you with it piercing eyes? Well now your not alone. I could mention a few names of some very strong and strong willed intelligent people who are just terrified of Cats. The Cat has had its time in the sun when it was worshiped by the those in the time of Cleopatra's reign if my history serves me correctly but I could be mistaken that with a bad movie from Sunday morning television but in any case the Cat was revered at one time. The so called witches always had a black one present (another television show perhaps) Bad luck to follow when a black cat crosses your path, "Curiosity killed the cat" or was it just fear.

I have had my share of cats during my lifetime and none, more so have had the chilling stares of the Siamese. These cats have sent a shiver up my spine on several occasions. Dam near bone chilling if I caught them sitting on my chest and just waiting for me to open my eyes in the morning. Its almost as if they are letting you know that its alright for you to feed and water them while supplying a roof over their heads all for the pure enjoyment of cleaning their litter box every week and petting them when the are in the mood. The saying is "it's a dog's life" baut to be honest they tend to have jobs, like cow dogs , guard dogs,seeing eye dogs, drug and bomb squad dogs, and a few more I am sure that just aren't coming to mind at this time. But what do cats do? The odd ones chase mice if they are in the mood or in shape but its more for sport then a job.
Now next time you get a chance try to clear your mind of thought and stare into the eyes of a cat. Then get back to me and let me know what you felt. If the cat you choose to stare down has a superiority complex you could be in for a fight or a hiss or even possibly a nightmare or two.
Watch how cats seem to strut every where they go, how the y brush against your leg at the worst times pretending to be so friendly and warm when they are actually marking your with their scent and making it easier for it and others to find your butt a little later. How they accidentally try to trip you coming down the stairs or tred a little to heavily when you are petting them and scratching their head or back.How they always get scared and scratch the crap out of you when your trying to put them in the house or get them off the china cabinet or top or cupboards. But the worst of all is how when they kill something they bring it in to the house and leave it precisely where you will be sure to step on it. If you have never felt the squishing of a dead mouse between your toes first thing in the morning I highly recommend it just for the exhilarating unique sensation and fear factor alone. Let alone the nausea once you realize its not vomit or poop and you will be required to clean it before you leave for work.
Don't get me wrong I will own a cat for the rest of my life or at least associated with one or two, be it for the fact I feel they have some slight healing powers when it comes to depressing,sad and or gloomy moods along with minor ailments(sniffles and mild horse throat)and the fantastic relief for boredom,especially if they are more then one of them. But for some reason I feel they can't be trusted it's as if they know something we don't and they are so smug about it too.
I have been raised to believe better safe then sorry so scary stares and brash attitude or not(sounds alot like me)I will be keeping one close to me somehow for the rest of my life.
