To him who is our leader
There she kneels on the floor
Her hands held to her face
Holding back the water
That is flowing once again
She's on her fourth husband
Her fifth child's on the way
Yet when it is born

Again she's asking why
Where can this lord be?
Who promises hope for all
She crawls into the darkness
Begins to dress her wounds
Now she has proof
Of a god that doesn't exist
Yet she has hope
But don't ask me why
Every week she attends church
To give worship to this guy
