"The Gambling Queen"
I'm going to catch the evening train,
Down to the city of New Orleans.
I got a handful of aces.
I'm going to lay them low,
On the river boat,
They call the Gambling Queen.
Where the winner, takes it all,
Because the dealers, make the call;
The losers, are sure enough to fall.
Yes some where's on the river,
You can hear the swinging doors,
On the river boat, they call the Gambling Queen.
Oh the muddy waters churn,
While the gamblers try to earn,
A grubstake that'll take them all the way.
Yes they'll risk it all,
As they watch the cards fall,
On the river boat,
They call the Gambling Queen.
Down in the galley,
The coal lamps sway,
As the river barge,
Rocks upon the waves.
A player loses all,
While he watches his cards fall,
On the river boat,
They call the Gambling Queen.

as it gradually
