Love last longer than a fleeting moment.
Wrapping me in warmth in the morning sun
Hugging me at night under the moonlight
Lingering in my heart to touch my soul.
Once in so deep why must you let me go?
My Burning throat, aching chest in your tracks.
Will I survive without your comforting?
Where is the right path that I must now take?
Were you an imposter stealing my heart?
Moments pass, days, and I have survived you.
I'm open for you, come with a new face.
Like the birth of a child, my heart forgets
All pain you could bring for the chance of joy.

I'm trying so hard to move on,
I'm trying to just forget
