Inspiring
Is the word
For the beauty of nature
On the walk home after a tiring day
Or on mornings
When I'm low on sleep
and high on stress
It diffuses the tiredness
Leaves me with awe
and caresses me with a loving awakening
I remember that evening
The sun was neatly tucked underneath the clouds
So much so that I could look up fearlessly
It cast an image
on the gentle current of the glassy creek
And the gentleness wrapped me with calm
I smiled
I remember the sidewalk
As I walked to school on one fall morning
With brown and orange leaves all over it
It was pretty
The differing hues of different colours
On the trees
As they danced about in the wind
I admired them
As I walked along
The sharp brightness
Preceding sunset
Proceeded by the orange horizon
As the sun ends its daily course
The ephemeral gold-tinted rim
Of the horizon
as the sun dutifully resumes
I am left simply staring
After a long walk home
in the cold of winter
I looked outside my window
As I thawed out
I saw purple skies
Beauty beyond measure
So I took a picture
The exotic scent of the garden at home
Delicate petals, promising buds,
The flowers that bloom annually
The leaves that are revived
The morning after a fun family evening
Wetting the plants
And getting wet!
It's wonderful
That though we cannot create
We are blessed to be able to nurse creation
To our personal taste and standards of perfection
Sometimes it's simply sensing the extraordinary
In the ordinary
But sometimes nature pulls on some stunts too
Displays, vivid and majestic
Pastels, calm and delicate
Look up,
Look down,
Look around,
Never forget to look
Feel the cool morning breeze
And with all of your senses
BREATHE

Ambrosia and Nectar
Flowers for the garden where the weeds have taken root,
Schools of hungry insects will then descend to
by Valley Hope
Garden leaves are scattered upon the ground,
Garden echoes a whistling sound... over again,
The green and brown colours seem
While walking through the woods one day,
I spied a fox along the way;
His red coat glistened in the sun,
As swiftly he turned
by Tanya Boyd
dancing mists upon the moonlight drink
up the subtle waters as softly as the air breathes
lending placid shadows to the depths
In a world of long ago,
There's a place not to far from here,
Where the mountains reach the heavens high above,
And lush green
