White-sand beaches littered with palm trees and being surrounded by crystalline blue water is the image most travelers view in their minds when thinking about vacationing in the Caribbean. Out of every possible destination from the island of Bermuda to the northern shores of Venezuela, there are a few locations that are an absolute must-see.
Aruba
Aruba has a hospitality that no traveler could find anywhere else in the Caribbean. Marked with a very rich history from drawings by native shawmen to a multi-cultural settling spot, Aruba greets travelers with open arms and a warm smile.
There are many accommodations within the small island. Choose from high-rise hotels to beach front villas to get the most out of your Aruba experience. With a variety of places to stay, what about the cuisine options? Choose carefully! With so many choices of absolute satisfaction, you could dine your way into oblivion. The restaurants in Aruba range in cuisine from local dishes to Italian, Japanese, seafood, and the ever popular steak-house.
Bahamas
As the location of the world's third largest barrier reef, the Bahaman islands is definitely the place to go for world-class snorkeling. Nestled in the northern waters of the Caribbean Sea, the Bahamas contains roughly 700 islands, all with exponential diversity, which offers the widest variety of vacationing spots in the Caribbean!
With so many different islands, there is an adventure for everyone. With the hustle and bustle of the nation's capital, Nassau, to the remote desert islands, there is definitely a slice of heaven for everyone who visits the Bahaman Islands.
Jamaica
Jamaica is the largest English-speaking island in the Caribbean and the third largest island in the region. There are so many different locations, places to stay, attractions to see and things to do, you could spend your entire life vacationing there. With such diversity in the island itself, a tropical paradise at sea level to a temperate climate in the central highlands, there is no place like Jamaica. Enjoy the site-seeing of the island's urban areas and then go ahead and take a day hike through the mountains.
U.S. Virgin Islands
The United States holds its own little tropical paradise in the Caribbean Sea, the U.S. Virgin Islands! Travel to the islands of St. John, St. Thomas, and St. Croix and just enjoy one of the many resorts available, take a deep-sea fishing expedition, putt around on one of the many golf-courses, plan a wedding, or simply move to the islands! As a territory of the United States, no passport is required to U.S. citizens, and travelers can expect to see and do great things while visiting the Virgin Islands.
