There is such beauty in falling in love.
When the love is gone, the beauty ends and we wonder how something so hideous was once something that kept us from going insane.
We sleep for centuries when love is lost.
Days become eons and hearts wilt like the once-beautiful flowers of spring, which called to us in the starving months of winter to remember their promise of simplicity and beauty when the days last forever and the nights smell like youth.
I've walked over the memories of whispers of yesterday and the bent and broken promises of tomorrow as easily as I've walked on water.
Time has become a liar and has made a damn fool out of me, the way you did so long ago.
In death as it is in life, love moves forever.
I do not think of you as I once did, but I think constantly of the way you've changed me.
To the heart that was once flush and eager, I will remember you always and keep you as safe as I can inside a glass house.
Just as the texture of our skin changes as the years pass by, I will rearrange and manage.
Love and beauty are only lost in death to those still living, incapable of seeing beyond the end.
