Where has the joy of the Lord gone?
Who has stolen my joy?
Counting the minutes to go by.
Longing for more of you.
Feeling cold, distant.
Reveal to me my sins oh Lord, so that I may be clean before you.
What is wrong with me?
Why do I feel such a heavy burden?
Lord, let me not take a strange pleasure in being miserable. Speak to me, for your voice is lovely and your face is sweet! Catch for us the foxes that ruin the garden. What are these little foxes? Where are they hiding in my soul?
Wash me Lord with the water of your Word.
Lord you are my light
And my salvation
Whom shall I fear?
I want to sing again,
songs of joy
of hope
of judgment
and deliverance
Yes, Lord, fill me with the desire to know you and to do your will.
