He has a house and car,
He makes money on his guitar.
While you have a space quite small,
Making your money, painting walls.
He has suits and ties,
And expensive utilities.
While you dress in jeans and shirts,
And have artistic abilities.
He has a cook and a maid,
He has a boat to sail.
You cook for yourself,
And don't live in a fairy tale.
He can take me on trips to Italy,
He can buy me any expensive jewelry.
You can warm me with your heart,
And tell me what happiness we could start.
All of his richness and reputation may be grand,
But it's your love that helps me stand.
So if a choice I was to make,
It would be your hand that I'd take.

at the things people do and say.
No thought to the pain,
these people are oblivious and vain.
