The way I love you is the same as you love me,
you seem to set my heart and my mind free.

You are the closest thing to my heart,
I will and always have loved you from the start.

You grew inside of me for a long, long time,
having a son is a great joy, this I did find.

I love it when you giggle when I whisper in your ear,
I love and cherish you, and I hold you so near.

The way I love you is as any mother should,
I would live forever just to be with you if I could.

You're my baby, son, and friend,
You are my gift from God, that he has sent.

I will love you forever, because that is the way I love you.
