Little ways to earn extra income

by Sheryl Spencer

Created on: June 27, 2008

If you don't have quite enough money for the necessities in life, or if you do and want a little extra spending money, there's a few ideas you might want to try.

With the hustle and bustle of lifestyles today, most people like the idea of earning some extra money in the privacy of their own homes. No bosses, no fighting traffic and no stress. One of the best ways to do this is involves a screen youre looking at right now. The computer.

It's amazing what all this little gadget can do for you and bring to you, if you know where to look. Since the focus here is making money, let's start with one of the easiest ways to do this.

There's something that every company needs you for and it's something that you've always had. Your own thoughts and opinions.

There's countless companies that will pay you for just that, your own thoughts and opinions. In this era of serious competitive product marketing, companies are turning to the one source that affects their businesses more than anything. The buyer. So, they want to know what you like, what you don't like, what bores you and what makes you pay attention.

Some companies will do the hiring themselves, or more likely the hiring will be done through a survey site, since these types of sites can compile the information and make it easier for the companies to process. Where can you go to find them?

The best place that I know of and also belong to, is "Annika's". It's a non-profit group of people, just like you and me, who want and/or need extra money. Just like you, I like earning extra money, but I also like information easily accessible and this site is a "one stop shop" in that it has a variety of ways to earn extra income and the list is huge of companies that will pay you.

Not all companies are trustworthy though (imagine that) and Annika's has listed those as well, under what's called a "Black list." If you're doing something you were told you'd be paid for, even if it's just giving your thoughts and opinions, you expect to be paid. If a company is found to not have paid, they get the honors of being "Black listed."

In the same regards for legitimate companies, if a member finds one that is not yet listed at Annika's, they can submit it for others to benefit from. You will find a wide variety of opportunities as well as helpful information on getting started. This is why this site is growing in popularity, because it's simply people helping people.

Surveys generally pay from $1 - $10, but some pay higher, either in cash or in
