Dark and cold
Shaking in agony
Veins run bold
in taking this tragedy
Longing to have hugged
or even touched your skin
before a life begun
it was at its end
I cant pretend to forget
i'm stunned stand dull and drowned
i'm not at my best
only meeting a son through an ultrasound
months of waiting
long nights have turned
now i'm facing
tears running and burn
Mourning the loss
on my knees tired, beat
more of me distraught
thinking of the tiny feet
such a little casket
lifeless, no making noise
looking to the heavens asking
why god why have you taking my baby boy

Poetry: Death of a loved one
by Judi B
Heaven Has My Hero Now
Heaven has my hero now,
My life with you is gone.
It's changed in oh, so many ways
But yet continues
"Never"
(In Loving Memory
For my Tattooed Queen)
Taken away before your time,
The debt paid before the crime,
Left but never
The Long Wait
The leaves fell down
Upon the autumn grass;
Frailty in every shade of red...
I sat by the window for a closer
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you
Neither sunrise nor sunset that I don't hear your voice
Or miss your laugh
And
Lights shine off in the distance
Nothing but blackness appears
There is resistance
Death whispers in my ear
He talks of a life
