There are many people who sell items on eBay for a living. The best way to use websites like eBay is to use drop shipping. This method is a great way to make some money, and you never have to mail or touch the merchandise. What is drop shipping? Drop shipping is a method of selling items on the internet. Many people who use the drop ship method think that they are the drop shipper, but this isn't true. The distributor is the drop shipper, and you are just the retailer with no merchandise. You can set up a retailer account with a website like

Doba. You can have your own internet store or simple post the pictures of the items that you want to sell on eBay.

You never have to worry about having a lot of stuff on your own or buying something that doesn't sell. The website that you register with will mail the item for you using your store name. Let's say that you sell a camera for $120 then that person credit card is charged $120 plus your shipping and handling fee; you then send a email to the distributor with the customers' name and address, and the distributor then charges you a fee of $50 plus shipping and handling and mails your item to your customer. You make a profit of $70 dollars without leaving home. It is a great way for people to start a home business.

I decided that I needed to make some money, but the problem was that I was a stay at home mom who didn't want to leave her children at a day care to work. So I thought that I would buy stuff from a wholesaler and then sell them on eBay. It would be a great way for me to make extra money. So I bought my first couple of bulk items and proceeded to try to make the sale. Well after paying the fees to show my items on eBay I quickly saw that I was losing money because nobody was buying my items. I was discouraged and stuck with items that I couldn't sell. So I ended up losing money both ways, and having to give my items away to Goodwill.

Then I found out about drop shipping and it sounded like a good idea, and I didn't have to worry about being stuck with something that wouldn't sell. If you see your item isn't selling you can just delete it and post something else on eBay. This may not be the best method for everybody, but it doesn't hurt to try it out. If you don't like it then you can cancel your account at anytime. It is a easy way to sell items for stay at home moms, students, or people who are really busy and trying to make some extra cash.
