It could be the way you look at me with those eyes
It could be the way I know everything you try to disguise
Maybe it's the way you make me laugh while you're joking around
Or maybe it's the way you never let me fall to the ground
Sometimes I think it's because you're everything I've ever wanted a guy to be
Sometimes I think it's because you remind me of me
There are days when we talk for hours on the phone about the others in our life
And there are days when we reminisce on our time of strife
To think I've imagined your lips on mine more than once
To think when I tell you there are great girls out there I mean myself
If only there was some way to lay out my feelings on the line
If only there was some way that I could tell you it's me I want you to be with
I wish I didn't have to watch you make the wrong choice
I wish I didn't have to feel pain in my heart because we're apart, but hey they wouldn't call it a crush if it was supposed to feel good right?
