Most parents always fear that there child will get involved with drugs just by trying them and make the biggest mistake of there life. The truth of the matter that I believe is, it is one of the biggest mistakes in life a human can make. I have had a look at some of my friends and even family members bringing there own life down from just "trying" drugs. It is a terrible factor in the U.S and I do believe that the increase will rise over the years. I know many people that are real close to me that have started off by just trying marijuana and it just set them off for other drugs. Hard drugs like crack cocaine, heroin, acid, shrooms and many more. Once you get addicted to these your life is pretty much ruined. Pulling out for a recover is amazing and very hard to do.

Allot of the reason that trying something is a gate way is because of the feeling. For instance you try marijuana with your friends and you get this high and you feel wonderful, for most. After a while of smoking you will not feel the same. The high will need more of it to kick in. So where the others come in is when then want to feel a different high. Something that puts them on top of the world, a drug so powerful you feel a hundred percent high no matter what. But once your involved like mentioned you do not realize how bad it has gotten. Family members begin to lose your trust, you start to lose friends and more people around you. Your whole body begins to shut down because it can not take what you are putting into your body.
I have seen somebody from the start of just trying ONE single drug. After a little bit of that she moved on to the next and the next, and it was pretty much anything she could grab after that. Money then becomes an issue once you try and get hooked. You miswell just throw your money out the window in piles because that is how much you are wasting. You could lose your family and pull everybody you've ever got along with out of the picture. No bills are being paid that are needed because you have a really bad addiction. I'm not saying this always happens because in most cases it probably doesn't.
But I have definitely seen first hand about this happening, and I have definitely read and heard about it. Stories were teens have tried a drug at a party and then tried more and more. Drugs are like a chain, you link one and start to link them all. Course there's also stories were teens have been partying and a friend introduces a drug. Lets take a party drug for example acid or mushrooms. When you are first introduced to this your body may not be able to take what it is about to give. Even "trying" this for your first time could do really major damage. You basically have no control over what goes on around you, what you see and what you can do to protect the effects. Trying drugs may be devastating, it just may lead up to other drugs and you may lose everything in life you ever cherished. Or you may just hurt yourself really bad or even result in death. Instead of trying drugs just stay clean and resort to different safe things. Why put yours or others life in risk.
